The South African government has announced that aircraft belonging to the national carrier will be broken down and used as parts in the country’s first electric car.
Nicknamed ZaZoomie, the vehicle will be used primarily as transport for government officials and their families. It is said to have a top speed of 80km/h and internal software developed by the team behind the SARS eFiling website.
