Deal Alliance Aviation Training is South Africa’s longest established aviation training school providing dedicated theoretical training for private, commercial and airline pilots.
Our Aviation & Ground School specialises in training and maintaining pilot proficiency for those soft and non-technical skills required for a commercial pilot licence. Our aviation-related courses are geared to be relevant to a wide range of pilot operation and are regularly updated to keep abreast of changing aviation technology.
So much training is now presented online and lacks the interaction and sharing between aviators of real-time experiences from which all pilots can learn and benefit.
In-house training may not always be practical for some. We therefore present many of our courses virtually but always facilitator-led.

Facility
Although our training facility is situated at Cape Town International Airport, thus enabling pilots to attend our scheduled training courses close to their place of work, Deal Alliance can also arrange to have our facilitators and lecturers conduct bespoke training at the Operator’s own premises if this is more convenient.
Aviation Training
The training offered by Deal Alliance covers SA CAA certificated aviation courses:
- CPL and Instrument Rating Ground School.
- Crew Resource Management Initial and Refresher courses (CRM).
- Safety Management Systems (SMS).
- Safety and Emergency Procedure Training (SEPT) for flight deck crew.
- GNSS/Perfomance Based Navigation (PBN) Theory training.
- Reduced Vertical Separation Minima (RVSM) Theory training.
- Restricted Radio License.
- Safety Management Systems (SMS) Course.
- Train the Trainer.
Deal Alliance facilitators and lecturers are continually developing new courses in line with current aviation requirements.
Language Proficiency
Deal Alliance was the one of the first Aviation Language Proficiency Test Centres to be accredited by the South Africa Civil Aviation Authority. We test pilots and Air Traffic Controllers for their language competency levels, and can also provide bespoke Aviation English Training to assist the candidate to improve his or her level of English. This training is conducted by experienced pilots who are also CELTA qualified, thus providing the best possible environment for complete immersion in an aviation context whilst improving the standard of spoken English.

Deal Alliance Aviation presents all ground training for individual training schools, as well as Commercial and Corporate Aviation companies both within and outside South Africa’s borders.
